A Helping Hand

When I was young, I'd always wanted to help when my friends were doing something for the class like decoration, party or reunion. Each time, I would be disappointed & most of the time feel useless as I can't really help much in anything at all since I can't do heavy duty stuffs. I used to feel very useless & wished that I could help in any way I can, hoping that I won't make things worse for my friends.

So now that I've grown up & gotten stronger emotionally, mentally, & even physically, I can finally be of some use to the friends around me. I really do appreciate all the OPPORTUNITIES God has given me to help my friends that need help. Sometimes when I feel unappreciated or not getting the appreciation that I deserve after helping a friend, I'm just so HUMBLED when I remember how useless I felt when I couldn't be of any help & how much I wished I could help even in the slightest way.

So, I am really really GRATEFUL just to be able to touch someone's life in this simple manner. It feels really refreshing at times to help someone without expecting anything more than a simple "Thank You." in return. So, do appreciate the all the opportunities you have to help a friend in need. Don't help a friend simply out of convenience or obligation, but really put your heart into it & go out of your comfort zone & you'll find yourself TOUCHING someone's life.

I am really blessed with so many friends that helped me throughout my whole life, never expecting anything in return from me. Praise Him for His GRACE & MERCY!!

Hope your are blessed by this thought of mine. God bless^^
